Call for Vendors

Deadline: January 10th, 2024

Òlàjú is seeking vendors to participate in The 2024 African Market Festival. Our marketplace program will feature a line-up of businesses offering Afrocentric items from clothing to accessories and beauty products. 

Event Description: Each year, we host the Festival as a celebration of contemporary African arts and culture. The 2023 edition will be held on Saturday January 20 from 12pm-6pm at the Brick at Blue Star Arts Complex. Between 200-400 visitors are expected to attend who are eager to learn about African cultures and shop from our vendors.

Vendor Participation Details

  • Vendor Registration Fee: $100 for new vendors; $75 for returning vendors
  • Vendors will be provided with a fixed 8x4ft. space, 6ft. table, and 2 chairs
  • Vendors will receive one additional Festival Vendor pass for an assistant if needed (2 Vendor Passes total)
  • Vendor booth set-up time is between 8am-11am and breakdown time is 6pm-8pm. 

Application Process

  • Submit application by the January 10th deadline
  • Notifications of acceptance or rejection will be delivered by January 15th
  • Vendors pay the registration fee upon acceptance to have their space reserved
